Backstabber- Some one that you have grown to be really close friends with, but then they go and go behind your back and betray you.
Example:
Rebecca-she has always liked my boyfriend, Kevin. But she never tried 2 break us up. Then one day she tells me that he told this random girl to come over here sit on his lap and give him a b.j. Then she said that they were holdong hands. But I have talked to him and some of my friends and his friends that were there at that time, and that was a freakin lie. SO REBECCA, IF YOU ARE THERE, YOU ARE NO LONGER MY BEST FRIEND OR MY SISTER, YOU ARE A LYING WHORE, YOU HO! GO ROT IN HELL YOU STUPID BITCH. and just to let everyone know, me and kevin are still togather!

*** can also be said to be when 1 likes a boy and the friend knows that, and all of a sudden the friend likes the same person
Example:

a "friend" who seems to be your "friend', but really they are not your "friend", in most occurences one find out that they friend is a backstabber when they see or hear there friend committing an act of cruelness towards you, when they think that you will never know what they did/ and or said about you.
Example:
i was board out of my mind wacthing old tv shows when i called up my "friend" to see if they and some of my other "friends" would go see a movie with me. but they were already watching a movie with all of my other "friends" without even inviting me or telling me about it.

One who pretends that they want to be with you but are only using you to get away from a current relationship, and then will dump you as soon as they find another sucker to take them in.
Example:
Dude, don't let that back stabber Amanda anywhere near the internet. She'll only use it to find an excuse to ditch you.

The act of back-stabbing is not a difficult task.

It is to earn someone's trust, by becoming their "friend" or otherwise, and then break it repeatedly.

It's easy to tell who's a back-stabber and who's not. If:
1. They talk bad about somebody else that they seem to be close with,
2. Many people don't associate with them for the fear of being talked about,
Or just seem like a bitch in general, watch out. These are sure signs.

Just a few examples of back-stabbing are if they:
1. Tell everybody in your grade that you are pregnant.
2. Talk behind your back about your strange behaviors after the death of you dad.
3. Hit on, go out with, and be a total slut to the man you clearly like, and that she has bad-mouthed repeatedly in the past.
4. Start numerous rumors about how much of a "fuckin whore" and a "piece of trash" you are.

After this, they will most likely come back begging for your loyalty to them.
This, in some cases, is acceptable. But be careful, it's bound to happen again.

Example:
Dude enterprise back-stabber told on me for circumventing the firewall! What an asshole.
