2. store where you buy expensive basketball shoes,
jerseys, and all of
that good sports stuff.
Example:
1. tyler is the fastest in the school but he lost
the race because he was afraid of
yellow tape.

person 2: why?
person 1: so we can get discounts on those expensive basketball shoes
person 2: thats a great idea, lets go

An idiom describing a situation where one does great at a subject, until near the end.
Note : To
stay true to the meaning, the mistake has to have a great
detrimental effect their overall performance.
Example:

end of a party or any time you stay till the end of a long event or complete an
activity.
Example:
Dude #1 :"Dude, what time did you leave that place last night?"

last call".
Dude #1: "That band sucked! The only reason you wanted to make it to the finish line is because you're a
