Pull a Gokey
When an American Idol contestant repeatedly mentions a family member or friend who is either a) dying or b) dead, in an attempt to garner sympathy from the judges, and while they're at it, your votes.
Example:
Person A: Hey, didn't Katie Stevens dedicate her audition to that dead friend of hers?
Person B: Yeah, didn't she totally pull a Gokey on the judges?

A firefighter who belongs to multiple departments and usually holds different level ranks at each one.
A Gokey will bounce between calls at will and randomly show up at mutual aid calls wearing a t shirt from the department that requested mutual aid, but instead of just showing up as a member of the original department he will drive 20 mins to the next station over and respond with them.
