An older (70s-80s) term that means to walk in an exaggerated motion, where you are rocking, or "switching" your behind back and forth to get attention. Streetwalkers do this to get the attention of johns. Therefore, switching is not seen as a positive term. It's a term used for someone who is considered slutty, promiscuous or just a plain showoff. Usually used for women but also sometimes for effeminate or gay men.switching

Often used mainly in Chicago as a slang for Glock pistol. There's a part called switch which swiches glock from semi to full auto which is very prevalent in Chicago
Switch-It
A hypothetical game that is played by placing the thumb of one's hand into one's own mouth while simultaneously placing the thumb on one's other hand into one's own anus, and then switching the thumb positions after an undetermined period of time. Most commonly used as a term to negatively express the passing of time with extreme inactivity or waiting. Very similar to the term "Grab Ass".
Example:
John: "Did you have a date with that girl last night?"
Tom: "Nah man, she said she'd call me back in 10 minutes but never did. I sat around the house playing 'switch-it' all night."

To be in the zone and focused on a task or during an event. People put in stressful situation who are rolling with the punches and not getting hung up on things are switched on. First responders, military personel and those who deal with dangerous and stressful situations are known to become "switched on" when faced with an event.
