GP is a word used by roller-coaster enthusiasts, and simply means General Public (as in what non-enthusiasts would say/do).

The word is also used as a gatekeeping measure by some enthusiasts from letting their passions be flooded with non-enthusiasts.

NOTE: People in videos tend to say 'general public'.

Example:
1) Nemesis, at Alton Towers, is a ride not just popular with enthusiasts, but with the GP as well.

2) If you don't know what GP means, you're GP.

A GP is a doctor who does not specialize in any particular area of medicine, but they treat all types of illnesses. GP is an abbreviation for 'general practitioner'.

Example:
1) If you’re having suicidal thoughts it is important that you make an appointment with your GP as soon as possible.

2) The GP may wish to provide his own aftercare for some patients.

A GP ("Good Party") is one that is characterized by an abundance of alcohol and attractive or interesting characters. There should be an equal number of males and females at said good party. In terms of alcohol, a wide variety of spirits and/or beer creates the impression that one is extremely cool and a connoisseur of liqueurs. PIctures should be taken at a GP with many people and large amounts of Solo Cups. Competitive beer pong, kegs, home bars, and dancing are a few examples of things that can be found at a GP. A GP must also be GFP (good for pics).

Example:
"Hey Matthew, the frat house is throwing a party tomorrow night. I hear they're getting a keg. GP!!!!"
