ION
An acronym for
in other news, used to
abruptly segue into a different topic in the same post. In more humorous uses, it can 'ironically' segue into something actually strongly related to the first topic. Compare BTW.

Ione is a modern name originating as a
sea nymph in
greek mythology. She is a nice, smart, pretty, funny, and athletic girl. She knows how to
have a good time. If you ever come across an Ione you shall feel happy and if your lucky she might fall for you.

meaning "
violet flower". This was the name of a
sea nymph in Greek mythology. It has been used as a given name in the English-speaking world since the 19th century, though perhaps based on the Greek place name
Ionia, a region on the west coast of Asia Minor. Someone called Ione has the traits of a very strong person but, is not too over confident.

A word for idiots who don't know how to, or for some reason
don't want to,
spell out "i don't", making themselves look like
morons.
Example:
When i see the word "
ion" used as "i don't" i assume the person wasn't able to spell "don't" and/or didn't pay attention during sophomore Chemistry.
Swagger/Tumblr Wannabe: "
Ion care she do wut she want."
Me: "An Ion is a particle with an electric charge because of the loss or gain of
electrons, you
halfwit idiotic fucktard."
