Nantucket

Nantucket is basically a small island off the coast of Massachusetts.Nantucket is a beautiful summer vacation spot (although the locals who live there are also very nice!). Many Upper Class families from the Main Line, Connecticut, several other east-coast Upper Class regions, and (surprisingly) California.Despite what most people have said, the families who vacation there do NOT get drunk all the time (although older teens tend to throw amazing parties). They go to Nantucket for peace and quite to get away from work and school.The Nantucket town is rather small, but is easy to get to from any side of the island. The town is equipped with places to eat (the Boarding House, the Pearl, Rope Walk etc...) the Toy Boat (toy store), a Stop + Shop (grocery store), a local library, Force 5 Water Sports, and several small boutiques.Alter Rock is the highest point on the island and is located in the center of the Moors (grasslands). Alter Rock is often biked to and is a popular attraction.Nantucket is an amazing place to be during the summer.

A beautiful island 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Mass. This island is far superior to its bastard sibiling, Martha's Vineyard which is located to the west. This superiority is not only because of its superior athletics program, but also because of the fact that there are no trailer parks on Nantucket.

In the summer Nantucket transforms from a small local population to a bustling toursit community. Sailing is a necessary passtime for one who wishes to live on Nantucket. Also included in a well-rounded Nantucketer's wardrobe are pastel polos, popped collars, rainbows, seersucker, and madras.

There are multiple events on Nantucket which make it the desired summer location, including Figawi weekend, the Opera House Cup Party and the Fourth of July. Often, locals and summer folk alike can be found drinking cheap beer on the best beaches in the world around bonfires.

While the summer on Nantucket is very fun, oftentimes it is ruined by douchebags, mainly from Fairfield County, who think they own the island...they don't. Overall, however, Nantucket is the place to be from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Home of Figawi High, an island 30 miles of the coast of Massachusetts. In the winter time the population is 10,000 but it goes above 70,000 in the summer time. Many rich people own houses there but never visit them and many tourists go there to visit the beaches. Nantucket is also known to rape Martha's Vineyard in every sport

Also referred to as "Whore Island", Nantucket is an island off the coast of Massachusetts. Many claim to have vacationed there, some even claim to live there. small island off of Massachusetts. In the summer asshole tourists ruin the island and in the winter the much less rich natives live there. Best place on the entire world if not for the people that don't know what ACK actually means. You can do almost anything on the island and it is loads of fun.
