Maybe another time
by qwertu11 on Nov 19, 2011 22:42:16
Example:
- Do you want to
grab a coffee or something after work?
- I'm quite
busy today *
going home to sleep and then hanging out with my friends, but I will lie to you about it*. Maybe another time, okay?
but that's another story for another time

A cool, fancy way of saying, "I could tell you about this, but I won't because it's not really that related to what I'm telling you about now." Used quite often in the book, "
The Neverending Story", and also in the movies based off of it and the cartoon series based off of the movies. It's basically one of those phrases that everyone yearns to find a good opportunity to say, like "
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you", or "
I'll be back...WITH WEAPONS!"
Example:
Once upon a time there was a thirteen-year-old who was bored so she decided to write a definition of "but that's another story for another time" on
urbandictionary.com. After that she went on to do something completely different, with
nothing to do in any way, shape, or form with urbandictionary.com...but that's another story for another time.

Another Man's Time

Example:
"My friend Jessica just got
divorced. You want her?"
"No man, she's got two kids with two different baby
daddies."
"
What's wrong with that?"
"I don't want to do Another Man's Time."
maybe another time?

if they went to the point where they said
this that must've meant you've been begging. they probably said no the first time so
just stfu and stop trying!they are not playing "hard to get" they just want you to fuck off. is no so hard for you to understand?
