Also Rayon shirts, unbuttoned at the top so that the chest ( usually hairy ) can be exposed to show off a cheap gold chain adorned with a symbol of the Virgin de Guadalupe. Paisa is slang for someone who is from your country. Paisa is derived from the word ‘país’ in Spanish which means country. Typically used in situations where you do not know the person you are talking to, but recognize you are from the same nationality. Mostly used in Mexico or by Hispanics.
