It is derived from the following scenario....when a girl is intimate with a guy and the first time she places her hands in his pants and she realizes that he has a small unit...your heart just melts cause you feel so bad for him and you just want to stop what you are doing and give him a hug.

Someone is considered to be a 'hugger' when they bring a girl back after a night out and end up not participating is anything of a sexual nature, but instead get into bed and 'hug' all night. Although this may be considered 'sweet' by many girls, it is also a very 'Un-Laddish' act.

A job or hobby where someone searches and finds an individual who is in desperate need of a hug, and then hugs them.
