The Glow

When a person playing a video game is so involved, so focused that they only have sights for the screen, then maybe, just maybe, they will get “
the glow”. You know the glow when you see it. When someone has the glow, they are so in the zone that any outside interruption will throw them completely off, and they could respond with violent repercussions.
The first recorded time someone had the glow was in Hollywood, California in 1999 when Billy Mitchell completes the first-ever
perfect game of
Pac-Man.
Example:
“Hey what’s up with Johnny?”
“Quiet, bro! He’s been trying to beat a
Halo CE Lassi campaign speedrun! He’s almost done, and man, he has
the glow!”

1) (in real life) To give off some form of positive energy through vibes, beauty, etc. Most often used to describe how the person is perceived visually, like a smile but not something like a compliment.
2) (in
internet culture)
a) To be close to or to break the TOS of a social media site in a way that is eye catching to some. Especially used if the action that caused the user to glow is something the community they are a part in often get criticized for.
b) To be suspected of being a
federal agent who is either trying to infiltrate or provoke online communities. Often posted when an account is found to have
doctored photos, made up first and last names, and/or relatively extreme ideas. Possibly a reference to the quote, "The cia ******* glow in the dark."
Example:
1) Becky: "How do I look?"
Samantha: "Omg,
you're glowing!"
2)
a) User1: "All parents who vaccinate their children should have their children taken by
Child Protective Services."
User2: "This man is glowing so hard."
b) User1: "If you're being
interrogated by the police, I'd recommend to not invoke the right to remain silent because it looks more natural to the judge."
User2: "User1 is glowing so much, all of the images they've posted of themselves we're ripped from someone's abandoned blog from 2006 and nobody has been recorded in the US of having the same name they claim to have."

The radiant "
glow" that attractive females have from ages 18-20 when they're in their
youthful prime. After age 20,
the glow fades and they then age like milk, never to have that youthful "glow" ever again.
Example:
Pwally: "Chloe Mortez has a nice
glow to her"
Succeeded: "yeah i agree, too bad that glow will fade when she hits 21"
jro9999: "girls with
no glow are a
no show"
mareewanna: "she better have glow or it's a go no"

The state achieved during the use of drugs, mainly psychoactives such as
opiates, marijuana, benzodiazepines, etc. These drugs generally bring about a feeling that everything is 'glowing'; an intense and calming
sensation that you are intimately
connected to your surroundings, i.e. your living space, friends, loved ones, animals, etc.
Example:
After the dose I had at
the Phil and Friends show, I was glowing. Everything connected to me.
Reciprocity and
symbiotic connections abound.
