A reference to Dana Scully, a scientist and FBI agent on the X-Files who regularly rebuffed Agent Mulder’s supernatural explanations. For example in Season 2, Episode 14, Die Hand Die Verletzt (1995) toads rain from the sky and Mulder explains it in terms of Satanism. Agent Scully’s response is: "The National Weather Service says there are tornadoes in Northern Massachusetts. The wind probably picked up the animals into the storm." First known cultural reference is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 1, Episode 6, "The Pack" First Aired: Monday April 7, 1997. A Sculli will usually have his hair tie on his wrist than in his hair.
