They don't know who they are, so they copy off of a popular icon and think they own the world. Also, they don't have a clue - about anything really.

An expression that finds its origin in the cowboy culture of old western movies and cattle drives.
In those times, cowboys were often portrayed as exclaiming "yippee" during cattle drives as a way to express excitement and enthusiasm.
Additionally, canned beans were a staple in their diets during these arduous journeys.
Over time, the two elements, the cowboy's spirited exclamation and their frequent consumption of canned beans,
