Caution
by Bhanu: A Failed Novelist on Jul 20, 2012 12:12:00
This is not caution. I am a university professor. It is not a particularly cautious act/behavior to write vaguely disgusting and diachronic definitions of angels,
wolves and
migration on a public dictionary site that anyone could read. I like writing my
autobiography in the form of Urban Dictionary definitions. This is not, as I said, caution.
Example:
Writing intensely personal definitions of futurity,
modernity,
you name it, on a public dictionary site that you will have no access to once you press send. To do this without
caution.

Caution Call
by adri0801 on Aug 06, 2009 01:48:16
The act of calling your girlfriend (or anyone for that matter) and
hanging up right away simply so it says "
Missed Call from 'your name'".
Great in those many situations where you don't want to talk to a girl, but you want her to think you
cared a little bit.
Example:
Dude A: "Crap I told that girl I would call her!"
Dude B: "No worries,
caution call that!"
Dude A: "Thanks man, you just saved my romantic night featuring her black
silk sheets and my erotic demeanor!"
Abundance of caution
by Connell1968 on Mar 15, 2020 01:23:16
This type of caution is typically practiced by institutions and larger
private sector organisations seeking to minimise exposure to personal injury or similar legal claims but has during the early part of 2020 increasingly been adopted by individuals seeking to cover up their total panic on realising their previous publicly stated position on a matter of significant risk was riddled with
hubris and incoherent
bravado.

You should have used a caution flush
