Code word for “fag.”
The origins of the word “hewlett” used in this particular context is believed to have been started during a roast session between two burnout friends. Both of the friends just got through smoking copious amounts of marijuana and making fun of eachother. In the midst of the roast session one of the friends referred to the other as a “hewlett fudge packard” which is a play off of the computer and printer brand “hewlett packard.” After the roast session ended they continued to call eachother “hewletts” and left out the “fudge packard” part because of the current era of intense political correctness and the reprimand that would take place had they used any disparaging remarks that reference homosexuality.
