In Asian dramas this is Seconf Lead Syndrome. There are the two main leads that are destined to be together but you always have some poor, handsome secondlead whofalls for the main lead. When nothing bites in a specific area because a big shot fisherman was there recently and hooked all of them. SLS can last for a good while. Unless the fish are dumb, and you're just lucky.
