A term used in txt/text language.ure is a shortening of the word "you're" as in "You're murdering my language sir".It's often used interchangeably with the term ur. Technically though there is a difference between the two. ur is a shortening of "your", as in "I see your dictionary is still in the shrink-wrap sir".

When you're either too lazy to type out "your"/"you're" or your grammar sucks so badly that you put "ur" and hope the other person knows which one you're talking about.
Example:
Stacy: "omg, ur not gonna believe what Brad said to me"
Kevin: "Bro, your grammar sucks, go to English class every once and a while you dumb wench"
Stacy: "How did you know?"
Kevin: "😐"

Moronic, half-assed spelling or "your" or "you're" used by close-minded, slow chatroom/AOLer individuals who can't type fast enough, and will use the excuse: 'i hav 2 use slang coz i am tokin 2 lots ov pplz unlyk u LOLZ', even though I could talk to several people without using a single abbreviation.
Example:
Although these slow-minded turdburglars use it to represent 'u r', or 'you are', it is not spelt the way it would be pronunced. 'Ur' would be pronunced as 'err' or 'uhr', not 'yer' or 'yur'.
