Dark Souls is the Sequel to the 2009 PS3 exclusive title ''Demon's Souls''. Dark Souls is an action RPG released in October 2011 by Bandai Namco and From Software.

In Dark Souls you play as a chosen Undead or "hollowed". Aside from the opening cinematic, the game lacks any real overarching story and is instead told by your interactions with various NPCS. The game features an open world with many interesting bosses each with their own unique looks and attacks.

Dark Souls is mistakenly considered a very difficult game, however, it is more of a trial and error game similar to Capcom's Mega man franchise. Players are meant to die in the game over and over until they eventually learn what they are supposed to do.

Dark Souls features a unique online multiplayer system where players can enter another players game and assist them with killing enemies or to duel in PVP.

The game features a lot of character and weapon customization and will keep players occupied for a long time.

Long story short: Death Simulator 2014.

Dark Souls 2 is the sequel to From Software's 2011 smash hit "Dark Souls." In Dark Souls 2, the player takes the role as an undead who bears the curse of Hollowing each time he or she dies. During the player's endeavours within the open world of Drangelic, the world within the game, he or she will encounter dangerous enemies, traps, and most certainly bosses. These bosses can be simple, or they can be hair-tearing-out rage inducing, much like "Dark Souls."

NOTE: Life may occur in Dark Souls 2. If you stay alive for more than one hour, you may be hacking.

Person 2: Who are you? Who am I? Where are we? What is life?


Dark Souls Syndrome

After hours of playing the masochistic gamer's favorite - Dark Souls, and ofcourse, dying and dying and dying and getting raped by that dragon on the bridge and dying and dying and dying and dying and dying...

Did I mention you die a lot in this game?

Anyway, after a while of playing Dark Souls, encountering seemingly impossible boss fights, losing thousands of souls over dying and even starting a new character because your previous one had shitty statistics, you start to become REALLY rude and mean to everybody due to the built up madness caused by the above reasons, and when you finally manage to get through and feel immense joy, the people you offended might not share your joy.

Remember kids: Dark Souls is bad for your mental health.

Frank: Hey Joey, wanna go out for some pizz--

Joey: OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO KILL THIS BOSS!?

Frank: Geez! calm down! I think you might be developing the Dark Souls Syndrome!
