A harmless thing to say, sort of. It's just
a filler, sort of. It doesn't really mean anything; but after certain things, sort of means everything. Like after, "I love you," or "You're going to live."

Example:
1.He's a celebrity of sorts in our town.
means that he is known well in our town but does not have
the status of a true celebrity.
2.Her house is a
museum of sorts
mean that she has quite a collection of things in her house but she doesn't have public hours or an
admission fee, for example.
